The Process
How Trade Partner Vetting Works
Application & Initial Conversation
You apply through this page and we schedule a 30-minute call with Adam Kilgore. We want to understand your specialty, capacity, and how you run your business. This is a two-way vetting — we want to make sure HBC is the right fit for you, too.
Reference Checks & Portfolio Review
We review your license, insurance, and past project portfolio. We may contact past clients. The bar is high — our homeowners trust us to only send contractors we'd use in our own homes. If you do excellent work, you'll pass easily.
Onboarding & Tool Access
Once accepted, we onboard you to the HBC portal: access to the Digital Home Twin for your assigned clients, AI proposal tools, and the network dashboard. Your first referred lead typically comes within 60 days.
Ongoing Partnership
Your performance is reviewed quarterly through homeowner feedback. Stay in good standing and you'll receive more referrals over time. We protect your reputation as fiercely as our own — which means we only send you to the right homes.
