1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website, services, reports, documentation, or digital content provided by Hometown Builders Club, LLC (“HBC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
2. Services Provided
HBC provides consultation, on-site home documentation, 3D scanning, measurement capture, digital home reports, and contractor/trade partner referral services. Services may include: initial consultations; on-site walk-throughs; 3D documentation; recording and transcription; delivery of digital reports; updates to home documentation; and contractor referrals.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information, grant safe access to their property, maintain safe conditions, and use documentation legally and responsibly.
4. Ownership of Documentation
All delivered digital content becomes the property of the client. Clients may download or share their files freely. HBC may store, update, and maintain backup copies unless deletion is requested.
5. Recordings & Transcriptions
Recordings and transcripts may be created for accuracy and are treated as confidential client materials.
6. Contractor & Trade Partner Referrals
HBC uses a vetted selection process for contractors, but does not guarantee or assume responsibility for their work, pricing, or performance. Agreements with contractors are solely between the client and the contractor.
7. Scheduling, Cancellation & Refunds
Deposits are refundable up to 24 hours before an appointment. Within 24 hours, deposits are non-refundable. After an on-site visit begins or is completed, no refunds are issued.
8. Payments
Payments may be processed through third-party systems. Clients agree to provide accurate payment information and resolve disputes through HBC.
9. Website Use
Users may not misuse the website or its content, including copying, scraping, reverse engineering, or introducing harmful code.
10. Professional Limitations
HBC does not provide architectural, engineering, legal, or municipal code compliance services.
11. Data Security
Data may be stored in encrypted cloud systems. HBC takes commercially reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute protection.
12. Account Access
Clients must safeguard their passwords and notify HBC if security is compromised.
13. Termination
HBC may terminate services for violations, safety concerns, fraud, or inappropriate behavior.
14. Limitation of Liability
HBC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Ohio, with venue in Summit County.
16. Changes to Terms
HBC may update terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
